Welcome to Painted Hilltop Farm

Painted Hilltop Farm is a Recreational Riding facility tucked away in the heart of Otter Lake, Quebec on 425 acres of rolling hills. Our programs focus on helping all levels and ages of rider develop
their skills in a safe, fun and supportive environment.
We have meticulously created our programs to include learning a solid foundation
of riding skill, and knowledge from the ground up.

We are pleased to announce that Painted Hilltop Farm has an
Equestrian Canada Certified Instructor and an
Equine Assisted Learning Certified Facilitator

We are conveniently located 40 minutes from Renfrew, Ontario and 30 minutes from Shawville Quebec. The farm is equipped with a large 70x140 fenced in outdoor riding arena, with a covered viewing booth. We also have a 60x144 Indoor Riding Arena with attached 8 stall barn. Finally, our facility has a number of well maintained trails and seasonal roads to spend hours on a beautiful day in nature with your horse.

Head Coach Charlotte

As the owner of Painted Hilltop Farm, Charlotte has been around and working with horses for many years. Charlotte personally oversees all the daily operation including horse care, and barn management. Charlotte implements all the recreational lesson programming, in addition to all coaching.

Charlotte is an Equestrian Canada Certified Western Instructor, as well as a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator.

Assistant Coach Emily

As the Assistant Manager and Coach of Painted Hilltop Farm, Emily has been riding, and enjoying her love of horses since the age of 3. Emily assists with all the daily farm operations, and ensures only the best care for the horses.

She thrives in the beginner and tiny tot lessons showing extreme compassion and understanding while teaching horse safety in an exciting manner. Emily is also an extreme asset to all other programs offered at Painted Hilltop Farm
